Misty, 9 month old deaf and almost blind female
Misty was adopted from a shelter because the woman wanted to rescue her but decided in less than a day that she couldn't handle her. So she contacted us and now Misty is here with us.
Now you might think this poor girl is all helpless and lost but you have it all wrong. She plays, she runs, she goes for long walks in the yard, up and down the stairs, finds branches to chew on and then finds her way back to the door. She is able to recognize me by smell and the same if she is with one dog. When she is with more than one dog however, she gets lost in all the smells and doesn't know who to follow.
We recommend that Misty goes to a home with an other young dog so they can play but not more than one dog.
Below is Misty(white) and her friend Monette(mantle)
